Taylored Expressions Branches & Blooms—Black Friday/Cyber Monday Sales!

Hi Friends and Happy Thanksgiving!! Wowza there are some incredible Black Friday Deals going on at Taylored Expressions and today I’m sharing a Thank You Card using the Beautiful Branches & Blooms Background Stamp which is free with qualifying purchase.

I embossed the background image with Gorgeous Copper Embossing Powder and then colored the branches and blooms using periwinkle, purple and blue Copic Markers.

  • Violet Branches: V04/05/06/09
  • Periwinkle Branches: B66/63 and BV04
  • Blue Blooms: B91/93/95/97

The Circle Botanical Thank You sentiment was heat embossed with Copper Embossing Powder to Sugar Cube cardstock which I die cut using the Frayed Edges Stacklets. To frame the sentiment, I added it to a Plum Punch Frayed Edge Die Cut with a little Plum Punch Ink blended on the edges to create a deeper hue of purple. To finish the card, I added the sentiment to the bottom center of the card and added Cosmic Drip Drops for extra dimension and shine. The entire decorated card panel was adhered to an Eggplant card base.

So know that you’ve seen a little Branches & Blooms Inspiration…how about some promotional details. You’re definitely going to want and get a few items off your Taylored Expressions Wish List!! There’s also really great Black Friday Doorbusters happening!

Taylored Expressions Season of Crafting—Cutting Plates!

Hi Friends! Happy Monday! Today’s TE Season of Crafting promotion is all about cutting plates!

I’m sharing two mini slim candy cane lane/peppermint themed cards using the Mini Slim Diagonal Stripes Cutting Plate and the Mini Slim Circle Window Cutting Plate.

Ho, Ho, Ho Merry Christmas!! For the Mini Slim Diagonal Candy Cane card, I cut the cutting plate from Cherry Pop and Sugar Cube card stock. The sentiment is from the Fill in the Blank-Christmas Cling and Clear Combo that I stamped in Cherry Pop and then added a stamped and colored St. Nick image. The sentiment was adhered to the panel at an angle for a landscape mini slim. To finish the card, I added a Christmas Simple Strip in Cherry Pop and White Embossing Powder.

Special Delivery from the North Pole. For the Peppermint Mini Slim Card I used the Candy Cane Stripes stencil to add Cherry Pop Ink to the Mini Slim Circle Window cutting plate. I colored all the Christmas Little Critter [Santa, Elf and Mrs. Claus] images with Copics and positioned them into the circle opening and framed them with Cherry Pop and Poblano Pepper Circle Window Frames.

For a little extra Christmas Pop I created a holiday wreath around the Elf with red Tiny Diamonds. To finish the card, I added a Red Foiled In-Reverse Christmas Simple Strip and a thin cutting plate frame in Cherry Pop around the outer edge of the card design.

Hope you’re enjoying TE’s Season of Crafting. Be sure to stop by the Taylored Expressions for all sale details and the Taylored Expressions Blog for more Creative Team Inspiration!

Taylored Expressions Season of Crafting-Stamp and Stencil Combo Inspiration

Hi Friends! Hope you’re having a great weekend. It’s the Season of Crafting over at Taylored Expressions and today’s deal is one of my absolute favorite TE products…the Stamp and Stencil combos!

For my card today, I’m using the Argyle Stamp and Stencil Combo with a Christmas-Critter Themed Color Palette. I used the classic Cherry Pop Red with Poblano Pepper and Granny Smith Green.

I started my card design by prepping an A2 Sugar Cube card base with anti-static powder and then stamped the Argyle diamonds with VersaMark Ink and heat embossed with silver embossing powder. I went to work with my Blender Brushes to add christmas color to the diamond argyle pattern using all three layered stencils…X marks the spot when placing the stencil over the stamped and embossed diamonds. Then I die-cut the stamped & stenciled panel with the largest Stitched Rectangle Stacklet.

I stamped the adorable Little Critters-Christmas bear, fox and moose with Oreo ink, colored with an assortment of Copics and cut out using the coordinating dies.

For the final assembly, I cut a piece of silver foil cardstock using the largest Scallop Rectangle Stacklets and adhered the Stitched Rectangle Argyle panel on top. For the sentiment, I used two Square Stacklets to create the Sugar Cube & Cherry Pop sentiment frames and stamped the sentiment from the Modern Holiday Greetings Set with Poblano Pepper Ink. I then adhered the Little Critters under the Sugar Cube sentiment square with thin scotch tape and then adhered the square sentiment block with thin 3D adhesive squares to the cherry pop square.

So there we are friends, a cute critter card using the Argyle Stamp and Stencil in a fun collection of Christmas-Themed Colors. I hope you enjoyed my card today and thanks for stopping by.
