Taylored Expressions Easter Release!

Hi Friends and Happy Tuesday! Hello Spring!! I don’t know about you but I can’t wait for the snow to melt, flowers to bloom, birds to sing and bunnies to start hopping! While it might still be winter outside, it’s definitely Spring in the craft room with the Taylored Expressions Easter Release! Let me tell you all the bunnies in this release are sooooo A-D-O-R-A-B-L-E—I can’t to show you what I created!

The All Together-Easter stamp + die it is SUPER COOL! It’s one stamp + die that cuts out ALL the little images at one time! One stamp + Die = 16 images!! Then when you add it with the Big Circles Cutting Plate it takes simple & cute cardmaking to an entirely new level as each circle is the perfectly sized to fit each of the All Together images! The other really fun find is that the Cap it Off Alphas fit perfectly in the center of the Big Circles. I couldn’t help myself and created two cards to make sure I could use all the cute images from the set.

Before using the Circle Cutting Plate, I did some tone-on-tone stamping with the Diagonal Diamonds Background stamp with Potato Chip cardstock & Ink and Granny Smith Ink on Lime Zest cardstock. I double-stacked the circle cutting plate and adhered it to a white card base. All the of the images where stamped with Oreo ink and color with an assortment on Copic Markers and white gel accents. I finished both cards with a heat embossed sentiment from Mini Strips-Easter.

All Together-Easter Supplies

My next card uses the Adorable I’m a Hugger-Bunny with the Present Treat Wrap & Basket Accessory and for the the background the He First Loved Us Stamp & Stencil Combo stamped and ink blended to Sprinkles cardstock with Confetti Cake Ink.

I die cut the bunny, tail and feet from sugar cube cardstock plus Cupcake ears and Sea Salt toes. Then I stamped the bunny face & nose in Oreo & Cupcake using the clear stamps that come with the set. To turn the bunny into a hugger you just need to fold the bottom of the bunny and attach his feet and cotton tail. To hug the basket, I used the Present Treat Wrap + Basket accessory, attached the basket handle and trimmed down the the bottom of the basket with scissors to fit inside the bunny’s hands. For the finishing touches, I added a white frill from the Treat Wrap Basket accessory and the bow from the Present Treat Wrap. The silver heat embossed Happy Easter sentiment is from the Mini Strips-Easter set that I backed with white glitter cardstock using the Mini Strips Backer die.

Bunny Hugger Supplies

For my last card, I used the Free Gift with Qualifying Purchase Be Hoppy Stamp & Stencil set. When you make a purchase of $100 or more today through Thursday, May 9th, in the TE webstore, you will receive the Be Hoppy Stamp & Stencil Combo set FREE! Stamp and stencil an adorable background of bunnies for your Easter and spring projects! Please note that this promotional set replaces our March incentive set during this release week. Offer valid while supplies last.

The Be Hoppy stamp is reverse background where you stamp the entire background in one solid color leaving the images the color of your cardstock (in this case…white hippity-hoppity bunnies with a Confetti Cake Inked background). I used the coordinating stencil to add the rainbow bunny tails.

For extra dimension, I added Bits & Pieces Clear Drip Drops using Nuvo Liquid Adhesive to each of the bunny tails. I die-cut the stamped panel using A2 Layer Stacklets which I added with 1 x 3 foam strips to a an Diagnonal Diamonds background in Oyster Ink. To finish the card, I added the pink & white embossed Easter Mini Strip and adhered all the panels to an Oyster card base.

In the Abstract 2 Inspiration

For my Abstract Quad, I went with a warm desert boho-vibe color palette using Sweet Potato Pie, Raspberry Sorbet, Peachs n’ Cream and Sprinkles.

I tried to keep all the stamping and ink blended to one layer but added dimension to each of the designs by using the positive and negative die cuts from the Arches & Rectangle Stacklets and A2 Thin Rose Gold Foil frames. Tip: When die cutting with the A2 Thin Border cutting plate, I like to use a Metal Shim to get great crisp cut the first time through.

Arches Frame & Panel:

Rectangle Frame & Panel:

All of the silhouettes were stamped using VersaFine Nocturne Ink, a MISTI and TE Alignment Guides and the abstract pottery was die cut in Rose Gold Foil & Raspberry Sorbet.

The Rainbow Boho Panel is super clean and simple. To create a poster frame look (without the glass), I popped up the outer frame using foam tape that I cut into strips. I also had to have one card with the envelope seal as the focal point.

All of the sentiments are heat embossed with rose gold embossing powder from the Clearly Crafty More Signature Sentiments stamp set and More Signature Sentiments die collection.

So there we are friends, four warm desert inspired abstract cards using the In the Abstract 2 Cardmaking Kit. I hope you enjoyed my projects today and be sure to check out the Taylored Expressions Blog for more inspiration from the TE Creative Team. Thanks for stopping by and Big Paper Hugs!

Monochromatic Triple Slim Boho Card Collection

Let’s start with the Triple Slim Boho cards. I can’t believe how different this stencil looks in black and white in comparison to a multi-color design. I included a previous set of cards using more vibrant colors to show the two totally different looks. The Black & White combo creates a Monochromatic Abstract Vibe vs. the Colorful Art Deco Boho vibe.

To create the Monochromatic Collection, I used my Black and Grey Blender Brushes to stencil on Oreo, Poppy Seed and Oyster Inks. For the last layer, I used a Nuvo Spatula to apply a good amount of Silver Glitter Happy Medium. Once the Happy Medium dried, I cut the three Mini Slim Panels and adhered them a side & top folding Oreo Mini Slim Card Base.

For extra depth, I added a Sugar Cube Mini Slim Half Dot panel to one of the panels. Each card was finished with a Black and White heat embossed Group Text-Occasions Sentiment.

Black, White and Pops of Red Valentine

For my Valentine’s Day Card, I absolutely love pops of red against a black and white background especially when those pops of red can be a big & small heart. I started by stamping the Good Hearted Background with VersaMark Ink to Oreo Cardstock that I heat embossed with white embossing powder. With the background ready to go, I die cut the hearts from Cherry Pop Cardstock and the Snow Palls Polar Bear from Sugar Cube, Oreo & Sea Salt Cardstock.

Once I adhered the Polar Bear together with liquid adhesive, I added the face with the coordinating clear stamp & rosy cheeks with an R20 and R000 Copic Marker. Using foam adhesive I attached the polar bear to the big red heart. To finish the card, I added the Reverse Love Sentiment Strips that I foiled with Red Deco Foil. I just love how cute this card turned out!!

So there we are friends, I hope you enjoyed my Monochromatic Collection of Modern Slim Line Cards and my Cute Black & White with Pops of Red Valentine’s Day Card. Wishing you a wonderful Valentine’s Day and Big Paper Hugs!
