Hi Friends and Happy New Year!! I don’t know about you but the new year always means the start to pink & red valentine’s cardmaking season and I’m loving all the new release goodies from the Taylored Expressions Valentine’s Release. Today, I’m sharing several cards using the Conversation Hearts Stamp & Stencil, Triple Slim Hearts Layering Stencil & the Cutie-Bees from the Bee’s Knees Card Kit are Back for Valentine Season!!
Sweet as Can Bee
I’m in love with the Bee’s Knees Cutie-Bees on Valentine Cards with the Sweet as Can Bee and Bee Mine Mini Strips Stamp Sets that I had to create two cards. Both cards use the Branch/Honey Tree image in Poblano Pepper & Chocolate Truffle. I stamped the Hive image in Lemon Meringue, Pineapple & Potato Chip Inks along with Fruit Punch for the heart center. I stamped the Bee’s Knees in VersaFine Clair Nocturne Ink and heat embossed with clear embossing powder. By embossing the stamped black images, there’s not chance for the black ink to “blend” into the yellow body and pink wings.
For my first card, I used the Forever Love Heart Die to create the top layer frame and for the bottom layer I blended Strawberry Milkshake to a Sugar Cube Card Base and added a white Honeycomb Cluster Die Cut. Then I layered the branch, Cutie-Bees and Honey Hive using different heights of foam adhesive. To finish the card, I added a white & licorice heat embossed Bee Mine Mini Strip “Will you BEE mine?” sentiment and a Strawberry Milkshake Frame in Frame 3 Stitched Frame.
For the second card, I used the Branch image as a Honey Tree and added cute foiled hearts to each of the branches. Then I added the hive and honey bees with foam adhesive along with the white and licorice heat embossed Bee Mine Min Strip Sentiments. For the finishing touches, I added a Frame In Frame 2 Scalloped border in Strawberry Milkshake and a Frame in Frame 3 Stitched Frame in Cross Sugar Cube.

Conversation Candy Sweethearts
To create the Sweethearts Box Inspired Card I used the super cute & fun Conversation Candy Stamp & Stencil Combo in Strawberry Milkshake, Lavender Glaze and Mint Julep + Lollipop Sparkle Embossing Powder. The heart shaker was created using Strawberry and Cherry Pop Heart Stacklets+Acetate.
The “for my SWEETHEART” sentiment is from the Tag Team-Valentine and Happy Valentine Heart Sentiment is from Itty Bitty Sentiments-Valentine. To keep the look of the Conversation Heart box, I adhered the hearts behind and on top of the acetate heart.

Triple Slim Hearts and Love & Hugs
The Triple Slim Hearts Layering Stencil creates three beautiful mini slim line backgrounds and with the coordinating Foil-It Panels you have yourself some pretty shimmer and shine. For my three slim line cards, I foiled all three panels in Gold Deco Foil using my Mini Minc Machine on heat setting 4.
I then used the layering stencil with Poblano Pepper, Fruit Punch and Strawberry Milkshake Inks. I foiled the sentiments from the Foil It Love Hugs Foiling Panels in Pink Melon Deco Foil and cut using the Love & Hugs Dies.
To finish each two of the cards, I added Mini Slim Thin Frames in Red & Gold Foil, & Tiny Diamonds. For the Happy Valentine’s card, I used the Mini Slim Stacklets+Petite Scallops & Diagonal Stitch Mini Slim Stacklets to create the scalloped frame.
