Big in Bloom Thank You
To get started with this project, I placed an A2 SugarCube Panel into my MISTI and used the Thank You stencil as my alignment guide—positioning the Thank You stamp inside the outline of the stencil. This step perfectly places the stamped image so you can stencil to your hearts content all the beautiful florals around and inside the sentiment! I removed the alignment stencil and stamped the Thank You Sentiment in Blue Raspberry ink.
For the stenciled florals, I used the Bitty Blender Brushes and Rose Water, Strawberry Milkshake, Lollipop, Lemon Meringue, Sprinkles & Granny Smith. I cut out the design using the largest Petite Scallop Stacklet which I stacked to a Cookie Monster card base with TE 1 x 3 foam strips. For extra dimension, I added several 5-point flowers in pink, guava and yellow with foam dots and little pink Diamonst to the center of the largest Rose Water background flowers.
Envelope Seal Thank You Cards
I used the two different envelope seal designs as the focal point for my first two cards—the first envelope seal was placed in the center of the Farmhouse Wreath and the second envelope seal in the center of the Stitched Frame Stacklets 3 Scallop Die Cut. For the floral background and flowers on the wreath, I stenciled two panels of flowers & leaves using the Awesome Blossoms Layering Stencil with Bitty Blender Brushes and Rose Water, Strawberry Milkshake, Lollipop, Guava, Lemon Meringue, Sprinkles, Granny Smith, Cilantro inks. Then using the Awesome Blossoms die, I was able to cut out 28 flowers, stems & leaves. That’s 14!! flowers, leaves & stems from one panel—Super Awesome!
For extra texture and dimension, I white heat embossed the Rough Draft Background to a SugarCube Card Panel. Then I adhered all the pretty flowers to the embossed background with liquid adhesive placing the pretty rose gold sequins in the extra white spaces. To finish the card, I added the scalloped envelope seal thank you with thin foam adhesive to the top center and added the decorated panel to a Lemon Meringue card base.
The Farmhouse Wreath was stamped with Oreo ink to SugarCube Cardstock that I die cut using the largest Rectangle Stitched Stacklet. Using liquid adhesive, I adhered the pretty flowers to the bottom left side of the wreath and for extra pop I added Tiny Diamonds to the center of the stenciled flowers and to the red flower centers on the envelope seal. To finish the card, I adhered the decorated panel with TE 1×3 foam strips to a Guava tone-on-tone stamped Rough Draft Background.
I hope you enjoyed my bright and cheerful Thank You In Bloom Card Set! Thanks for stopping by and be sure to check out the Taylored Expressions blog and Taylored Expression for more Creative Team Inspiration and a look at the entire new release! Big Paper Hugs!
