Blog Hop: Pinkfresh Studio February 2022 Stamp, Die, Stencil and Hot Foil Release

Hi Friends and welcome to the Pinkfresh Studio February 2022 Stamp, Die, Stencil and Hot Foil Release Blog Hop! I’m thrilled to be guesting with Pinkfresh Studio for the Blog Hop! Be sure to scroll to the bottom for New Release Giveaway Details.

Cover Plates!! I absolutely adore cover plates and the February Release is full of great patterns for your card designs. Cover Plates are my go-to big impact but quick & easy cardmaking supply—especially for clean and simple cards.

I used the Daisy Chain and Floral Grid Coverplate Dies for my color block designs. I added strips of cardstock behind the cut-outs to add pops of color in blues and rainbow.

Not to distract from the pretty colors and design, I added die-cut word sentiments from the Phrase Builder-Sending Set and complimentary stamped sentiments from the Simply Sentiments-Hello Set.

For my second set of cards, I went all in on the foil and lots of gold using the Geo Tiles Coverplate & Hot Foil Plate and Botanical Butterflies Cling Rubber Stamp, Stencil & Die. The gold heat embossed sentiments are from the Simple Sentiments-Hello Set.

I used the Geo Tiles Hot Foil Plate with my Gemini Foil Press to add Gemini Gold Foil to black cardstock. After the Peel & Reveal, I used the negative piece of foil with the Solid Hot Foil Plate and transferred to another piece of black cardstock—this is what I used as my largest rectangle sentiment layer. This was a really quick card to pull together and with lots of elegance and shine. I love how the gold pops off the black background!

For the Botanical Butterflies Card, I cut the Geo Tiles Coverplate with Gold Foil Cardstock and adhered it to a white card panel —- this is a great way to get a foiled look without a foiling machine. The lovely branches and butterflies were stamped with VersaMark Ink and gold heat embossed. With the coordinating Botanical Butterflies Card & blender brush, I ink-blended Mint for the leaves and Ballet Slipper & Sparkly Rose for the petite florals. I cut all the elements with the Coordinating Die and adhered to the Geo Tiles background with foam squares and liquid adhesive.
