Hi Friends and Happy Weekend! I don’t know about you but I’m always in need of Thank You cards and I usually need them as quickly as possible. Today, I’m sharing a quick and easy stamped design that you can make in a multitude of color combinations using the EBE Painted Stripes and World of Thanks Stamp Set. I went with a neutral color palette for a “sandy beach vibe” or country denim & leather vibe” using Cathering Pooler Inks in Over Coffee, Cove Blue, Stone Blue and Tranquil.
I’m a “supply-stretcher” and “mess-optimizer” and always create multiple cards when I have all my supplies spread out all over the place. Rather than creating the exact same cards, I simply changed-up the color direction of stamped stripes.
In celebration of National Embroidery Month I added faux stitched detailing using the EBE Stitching Lines Designer Dies. Not only did the stitching lines add texture and dimension to the card, it also helped “ground” the THANKS sentiment to the card. I do have to make a special mention that this die set is AMAZING—it’s an older EBE product but it is brilliant for adding different stitching details to cards and it really ups your one-layer card designs.
To finish the cards, I added a few little Hai Supply Stars and adhered the decorated panel to an EBE Oyster Gray & Neenah Desert cardbase.
