Today, I’m sharing three cards using the cutie pie Hippo, Owl and Giraffe Images. To get started, I stamped all the images with Oreo Ink and used Copic Markers to color in the images (with a few white gel-pen accents) and used the coordinating die to cut each image.

Sending Get Well Wishes

Mr. Hippo looks like he needs a good get well hug/card. I started by stenciling the diamond background with Gumball Ink. I ink blended a white cardstock Frame Die Cut with Cookie Monster Ink and added the Hippo behind the frame with clear tape. I added Mr. Hippo & his frame to the stenciled background with adhesive squares and glued the Get Well Soon Sentiment to the center of the frame. I added a Sugar Cube & Cherry Pop A2 Thin Frame around the edge of the card and for a little extra pop added a Red Gem to the tip of the thermometer.

Graduation Wishes

Owl You Great, Congratulations Grad! I love this clean and simple mini slim card with all the little touches of rainbow and dimension. I used all the easy strip sizes to create a rainbow pattern to the inside Frame Rectangle (I had a bunch of colors already cut from previous projects—Love it when this happens—and it will probably happen all the time now that I have the Easy Strips on hand). The frame was die cut several times with white cardstock and stacked together with liquid adhesive for extra dimension. I popped the rainbow rectangle back into the frame (adhering with liquid adhesive) and adhered the Owl with foam adhesive. Using my MISTI, I placed the frame to a Stitched Mini Slim Panel so I could place & stamp the Congrats, Grad sentiment in Oreo Ink with just enough room to add the rainbow gems. To finish the card, I attached the decorated panel to a Lollipop Mini Slim Scallop Frame & Card Base.

Welcome Little One

Welcome Little One. I have to admit, I’m pretty smitten over the little baker twine portrait hanger…the secret was adhering all the pieces to the frame and card with mini glue dots. With thin foam squares, I attached the Blue Raspberry Ink blended frame to a Box Top Stacklet and then adhered the Giraffe with liquid adhesive. I used my MISTI to stamp the Welcome Little One with Oreo Ink. I then adhered the decorated Box Top Stacklet to the Lemon Meringue stenciled Mini Slim Rectangle Stacklet which I adhered to a Lemon Meringue Mini Slim Scallop Panel.
