Hi Friends and Happy Tuesday! Hope you are having a great start to the new week. Taylored Expressions has two fun releases this week. Today, I’m sharing two cards using products from the Hanukkah Release. For my cards, I used the Hanukkah Foil It Panels in both a Gold and Silver Designs.
I used a Royal Sovereign 9” Desktop Laminating Machine to add the foil to the panels. For best results, I let my laminating machine heat up for at least 10-15 minutes (way past the green light indicator). I use a piece of typing paper as my carrier sheet and wait for the foil to cool down after running it through the laminator before pulling the foil from the panels.
For my silver and blue Hanukkah Celebration Card, I used a blue blender brush to add a layer of Blueberry Ink over the silver foiling focusing the darker blend towards the bottom of the panel. For the sentiment, I added a silver embossed “Happy” using the Get the Word Out-Happy Stamp and Coordinating Happy Shadow Die and white embossed Hanukkah using the On Repeat-Hanukkah Stamp and coordinating Die on Blueberry card stock. For a finishing touch, I added a silver A2 Thin Panel as a border around the panel and attached the decorated card panel to a Blueberry card base.
For my gold and blue Hanukkah Celebration Card, using my Misti I double stamped the Get the Word Out-Happy in Blueberry Ink. For a gold leaf effect, I stamped the bottom of Happy with a VersaMark ink cube and heat embossed with gold embossing powder. I added the Happy Sentiment along with a white heat embossed Hanukkah sentiment to the center of the Gold Foil it Panel. For a finishing touch, I added a blue glitter A2 Thin Panel border and adhered the decorated panel to a Blueberry card base.
