Hi Friends and Happy Tuesday! While it might be February, March and all things Green and Gold are right around the corner. Taylored Expressions has a new St. Patrick’s Day Mini Release that’s full of shamrocks and leprechauns and I’m here today sharing a little Lucky Leprechaun card making inspiration.
Oh, the cuteness of these Lucky Leprechauns—all there adorable smirking and smiling faces! For my first two cards, I used the Lucky Leprechaun Cling & Clear Stamp Set, Stencil and Head Die along with the Mini Strips-St. Patrick’s Day. The Cling & Clear sets are so much fun to play with and I challenge you not to giggle a little when you create these adorable Leprechauns with their stamped patterned top hats, beards and oh, my goodness you can even stamp on their rosey cheeks! Cuteness Overload!!
For extra sparkle, I added Gold Glitter sentiment backers to my sentiment strips and used a palette knife to add Nuvo Gold Glitter Drops to the Green Shamrock stenciled background. And for even more Gold shine, I heat embossed the Lucky Leprechaun Cling Background stamp with Gold Embossing Powder.

Wow, the Shamrocks Stamp and Stencil set is absolutely beautiful! With the layered stencil you can create so many different color combinations that are perfect for sending a little Luck someone’s way. I used a combination of green inks and hints of blue and then added extra gold shimmer and shine with a gold heat embossed handlettered sentiment and glitter cardstock circle frame layer.
