Taylored Expressions Valentine Release-Love You Bunches!

Hi Friends! Today is the day for the Taylored Expressions Love you Bunches Valentine Release and it’s my first post as a Taylored Expressions Creative Team Member! If you follow me on Instagram, you’ll know I love creating with Taylored Expressions products and had a blast on last year’s Team TE. A huge thank you to Taylor for inviting me to join the amazing TE Creative Team! As Valentine’s Day is one of my favorite card making holidays, I have several cards to share with you. I hope you enjoy and Big Paper Hugs!

Hugs & Kisses: Hearts a Plenty & Fill in the blank Love Cling & Clear Combo

There isn’t a note that I don’t include a little XOXO so having an entire card focused on Hugs and Kisses fills my heart. I used the Hearts a Plenty Cling and Clear Combo Stamp Set and the Fill in the Blank-Love Cling & Clear Combo to create a mini slim and A4 card set.

A4 Card Details: I placed the Fill in the Blank X – X stamp on my MISTI to stamped the third line of Xs in Lavender Glaze Ink. After I stamped the first image, I turned the card panel upside down and stamped the second line of Xs. I did this two more times until the card panel was covered with Xs. For the last row, I left a little more space so I could fit the Hugs & Kisses sentiment strip which I heat embossed with white embossing powder. For the Pink Hearts, I stamped the Hearts a Plenty background stamp in Strawberry Milkshake and then used the coordinating clear stamp set to add the patterned images with Sugar Cube Ink and VersaMark Ink that I heat embossed with white embossing powder. To finish the card, I adhered the large hearts in between the Xs with liquid adhesive and added the decorated card panel to a Strawberry Milkshake card base.

Mini Slim Card Details: I had a few large and small hearts leftover from the XOXO card, which was a perfect fit for a Mini Slim Size card. I stamped the X – X using Cookie Monster Ink to the center of a Slim Stitched Slim Panel. Then I used the Stencil Strips-Love to add a few more hugs and kisses to the card using my blender brushes and Lollipop Ink. For dimension, I double-stacked a large and small heart using thin foam adhesive and placed it as the center heart. Then I added Full of Hearts Bits & Pieces to the card, for a little extra pop. To finish the card, I placed the decorated card panel on a Petite Scallop Mini Slim Stacklet Frame in Cookie Monster CardStock and then added the layered piece to a Strawberry Milkshake card base.

Happy VALENTINE’S DAY: HanDLetterd Stamp & Dies

For my next cards, I created a fancy-CAS style using embossing folders, vellum and embossing powder to go with the elegant Hand Lettered Happy Valentine’s Day Stamp and Coordinating Dies.

Card Details: One of my favorite quick and easy, CAS techniques is using embossing folders on white cardstock to add just a bit of extra interest to a Sentiment-Focused card design. I used the Rosy Posey Embossing Folder for the Pink Valentine and Dotted Lattice Embossing Folder for the Gold Valentine. I stamped the Happy Valentine’s Day Hand Lettered design with VersaFine Ink and then heat embossed with Rose Gold and Gold Embossing Powders. Then I used the new Coordinating Dies to cut the intricate hand lettering…I love how the die gets into all those little spaces between the hand lettering and hearts! I also die cut the sentiment from fun foam and adhered it to the embossed sentiment for extra dimension. Then, I adhered the sentiments to a Vellum Stitched Heart Stacklet Die Cut. For extra shine and shimmer, I adhered several Full of Hearts Bits & Pieces to the center points in the Dotted Lattice Embossed Design.

Card Supplies:

LOVE is All You Need: On THe Block-Love & Shadow DiE, Building Blocks Love Addition and Half a Heart Layering Stencil

When I was creating this card, I couldn’t stop singing “All you need” while stenciling, stamping, embossing and die cutting. Love, Love, Love…. All you need is love, All you need is love, love, Love is all you need.🎶

Card Details: I stamped On the Block-LOVE in Lollipop Ink to an A4 Card Base and partially die-cut the sentiment using the On the Block Shadow die and then used my craft knife to cut between the sides and edges of the die cut. For the background, I used the Half a Heart Layering stencil with Lollipop, Strawberry Milkshake and Cupcake Inks. Then I adhered the LOVE panel over the stenciled background with foam tape. To finish the card, I added a Rose Gold Heat Embossed “Is all you need” Sentiment block from Building Blocks-Love Additions.

Card Supplies:

LOVE you Bunches: Love from Max and Millie, Building Blocks Love Addition and Mini Slim Swiss Heart Stencil

The On the Block LOVE stamp and Shadow die makes such a big impact on CAS cards. I LOVE it!! This time I matched the LOVE with Max & Millie.

Card Details: I stamped the On the Block-LOVE in Strawberry Milkshake and Cookie Monster and then die-cut using the On the Block-Love Shadow die. For extra dimension, I also die-cut the LOVE shadow from Fun Foam and then stacked and glued it to the Pink and Blue LOVE die cuts. I used the Mini Slim Swiss Heart Die for the ombré Lollipop/Strawberry Milkshake and Cookie Monster/Lavender Glaze and square backgrounds. The Max and Millie images where stamped with Oreo Ink and colored with Copics and Spectrum Noir Tri-Blend Markers. For the sentiment strip, I heat embossed Love you Bunches and Love is in the Air from Building Blocks-Love with silver embossing powder on Oreo Cardstock. Everything was stacked and layered using foam adhesive and a tape runner. To finish the cards, I added the decorated panel to a Lavender Glaze and Strawberry Milkshake card base.
