Essentials by Ellen Holiday Release Hop

Hello Friends and welcome to Pops of Paper! Today, I’m joining several of the EH Design Ambassadors on a Blog Hop celebrating the Essentials by Ellen Holiday Release!!

This Holiday Release is HUGE and I’m so excited to share with you cards I created by mixing and matching existing Essentials by Ellen Designer Dies with the New Merry Little Christmas and Bear Ware 5. I just love Adorable Bear from All Inside!

Merry Little Christmas

The Merry Little Christmas stamp set is perfect for setting the In the City or In the Country Holiday Scenes. As a kid, one of my favorite memories was driving into the big city to see all the holiday shop windows and Christmas lights but I’m a country girl at heart so I can definitely imagine myself all cozy and snug in the Country Cottage up in the Pine Tree mountains.

To create the country scene, I used the EBE by Julie Ebersole, Alpine Window Designer Dies and EBE Star Trail Designer Dies to create the hills and stars from Kraft and white card stock. For the extra snowfall, I added Gloss White Nuvo Drops. The Merry Little Christmas cabin and Snowman were quickly colored with Copic Markers. 

To create the city scene, I used the EBE Big City Designer Die for skyline and the retired Snowfall Backdrop die. I also added in a few stars from the EBE Star Trail Designer Dies. All of the Merry Little images were colored with Copic Markers. For a little extra sparkle, I added Diamond Stickles to the Distress Oxide Ink Blended Background.

Bear Ware 5!!

Ok, so Bear Ware 5 might be another one of my favorites this release. I combined Bear with Little Bear from Bear Ware 4 to create two fun holiday critter cards. I was also so excited to match-up the North Pole sentiment from Santa’s List. For extra snark on the tangled lights card, I included a sentiment from the Voices in My Head Stamp Set.
