Pinkfresh Studio April 2020 Stamp and Die Release Blog Hop

Hi Friends and Welcome to Pops of Paper. I am beyond excited to be invited as a quest during the April 2020 New Release and joining in on all the fun and inspiration during the Blog Hop. I had a blast playing with the new dies and stamps in the collection. So many amazing standalone dies and stamps and for someone who answers their favorite color is rainbow the dies are perfection! For my projects today, I went all in on the rainbows and created four bright and cheerful friendship cards. I created all of my cards using colored card stock from my stash and the following Pinkfresh Studio stamps and dies:

• Simply Sentiments Hello Stamp Set
• Phrase Builder Hello Die Set
• Color Block Rainbow Die
• Color Block Stripes Die

For all of my cards today, I selected 11 different colors of card stock + white and ran both the Color Block Stripe and Rainbow through my die cutting machine numerous times. To speed up the process, I used an extended platform and cutting pads with my die-cut machine. The best part is that I have a ton of extra stripes and rainbow shapes in multiple colors that I can mix and match for future projects.

For the sentiments, I used black and white card stock and flipped and flopped between white and black as the shadow layer. I’ve never used the Pinkfresh Studio Phrase Builder Word Dies but I have to say they are absolutely wonderful!! They cut beautifully and the shadow piece is a perfect fit for the script word die for the perfect amount of pop to any card design.

Hello Beautiful Little Rainbow

This was a fun, clean and simple card to create with lots of color pop. I die cut and adhered the white Rainbow Color Block Frame to white card stock and then adhered the rainbow card colored inlay pieces into the frame.

Hello Friend

For the Hello Friend Rainbow Card, I created a floating/free-standing rainbow by using the Rainbow Frame as a template to place the color block pieces with Mondo Liquid Glue. After adhering all the pieces to the black card panel, I removed the die-cut frame to reveal a perfectly positioned corner rainbow.

Hello and Happy Thoughts

For the Hello and Happy Thoughts card, I combined both the Color Block Rainbow and Color Block Stripes dies into one happy geometric rainbow. I die cut both the stripe and rainbow from white card stock.

I Miss You

A super clean and simple card using the stripes from the Color Block Stripes die with the perfectly sized “I Miss You” sentiment on the yellow stripe. To make sure the stripes were perfectly straight, I used the same template technique as the Hello Friend card above.
