Waffle Flower New Release Blog Hop with Ellen Hutson

Oh, my sweetness! I just love this adorable Spring/Easter bunny and the florals are so pretty. Today, I have two cards using the Rejoice Rabbit Stamp and Die Combo. 

For my first card, I used the full rabbit image for the focal point of my card. I colored the rabbit and florals with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers (list of colors are in the product listing below) and then die cut the image. For the background, I added a light dusting of Spun Sugar Distress Oxide Ink with a blending brush to white cardstock. Then I added a strip of my favorite Gold Foil Hai Washi Tape to the background to create a clean and simple layered look with the sweet bunny image. To complete the card, I stamped the “Somebunny Loves You” with white embossing powder to pink cardstock and then die cut the sentiment with the coordinating die. I really loved having the die cut for the sentiments for different layout options. 

For my second card, I did a tiny bit of masking to create two floral boughs. I colored the floral images with Zigs and added in some white gel pen for extra dimension. The floral boughs were a perfect fit on a stitched rectangle inlay die cut. I also blended Spun Sugar to the rectangle background for a little extra pop. The sentiment was heat embossed with gold embossing powder on white card stock.

I loved the versatility of this stamp set. While it looks like one image full of adorable sweetness, it really is a versatile stamp set when you create pretty floral standalone designs.
