The Pops of Paper Kiddo and I had so much fun creating with the Crafty Hug release and can’t wait to share our projects with you. So let’s get this Crafty Hugs party started!

For all of the coloring on all the projects today, I used Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers in bright and cheerful Valentine colors: Light Carmine, Pink, Light Pink, Dark Pink, Pink Flamingo, Sugared Almond Pink, Light Violet, Violet, Lilac, Light Blue, Cornflower Blue, Cobalt Blue, Turquoise Green and Persian Green.

A Crafter’s Heart

If you love to color images, this is the perfect stamp for you. No matter how you color this fun image, it looks amazing and the sentiments are perfect for a Crafty Friend. I combined the heart design with a vellum embossed stitched sentiment banner from the Slimline Card Series: Scalloped Card Panels and Banners Die Set. For a little extra pop, I added some purple, plue and pink clay hearts.

3×4 Valentine Monster Cutie Cards

For the first project we created cute little monster Valentines using the Monster Love Stamp Set and Monster Love-Coordinating Die Set and a great new Slim Line Die Set to add to your collection called the Frame & Fold

The cool thing about the Frame & Fold Slimline Die set is the size of the fold die ends up being slightly under 3×4 so it fits perfectly in a mini 3×4 envelope. I created all of the envelope using the We R Memory Keepers Mini Envelope Punch Board that is currently in the Trinity Stamps shop and 6×6 pattern paper!

The first Valentine was a shaker card that I filled with Violet Monster Eyes and Green Monster Eyes and added the I’ve Got Eyes For You Sentiment strip from the  Love & Stuff Sentiments 3X4 Stamp Set. I created the shaker using the stitched rectangle and square dies from the Frame & Hold Slimline Die Set. To create the shaker compartment, I used the amazing skinny sticky foam strips! These foam strips are PERFECTION for thin framed shakers! I colored the silly-eyed monsters with Zig Color Clean Markers and adhered them together for a little side-hug squeeze and then added them to the top of the shaker window. For a little extra pop, I also adhered a few clay monster eyes to the outside of the shaker window.

For the second Valentine, I die cut the square and heart and adhered them together and added the fun little lizard monster. Then I used a glue dot to adhere the decorated square to a yummy square chocolate & raspberry bar. To finish the mini valentine, I attached the decorated chocolate to the purple stitched rectangle and added the Happy Valentine’s Day sentiment.

Projects from the Pops of Paper Kiddo! (age 9)

Hello and happy blog hop day! The first card that I made was these adorable 2 monsters that are hugging each other. I used my new watercolor markers to color in the monsters. One of the monsters are blue and teal and the other monster is pink and teal. My mom cut out the hugs for another project and I found it in her toss pile and I placed a pink piece of paper under it. When we finished doing that we used Trinity Stamps blue and pink hearts embellishments. I also added the two hearts that we die cut from the monster set on a teal colored piece of paper.

The second card that we made was one I did with my friend. I taught her how to make a stenciled blended card. My friend did the big Purple Heart and I did the other three. After we blended all the hearts togetherness I die cut the love sentiment in a purple sheet of paper. We also die cut a white background to put on the bottom of the love sentiment. Last but not least we put these big heart embellishments to match with the colors that we did for the hearts. I loved teaching my friend how to make a card! We had so much fun!

We hope you enjoyed our Monster Love and Full of Hearts projects. Make sure you comment below and along the hop for a chance to win a gift certificate to the Trinity Stamps Shop.
