Happy Birthday Trinity Stamps!

I was so excited when I saw the huge cupcake image in the Sweet Surprise stamp set. It is perfect on a card and you can add sprinkles and all sorts of decorations but for me it’s the perfect size for Celebration/Holiday Party banners! A dual-use stamp set, YES PLEASE!! I love using banners to decorate my home for birthdays and holidays and if they can be handmade, even better. I wanted to spend my time stamping and decorating the cupcakes so I found the banner base in the Target Dollar Spot (one less step and the color was perfect to wish Trinity Stamps a Happy Birthday!) This banner came together in just a few steps: 1) Stamp and Color the Cupcakes in fun pastel colors. 2) Die Cut the Cupcakes an decorate with Trinity Stamps Sprinkles and Confections Embellishments 3) Die cut large circles from pretty vellum. 4) Adhere the Cupcakes to the Vellum and the Cupcakes to each banner. 5) Stamp Let’s Celebrate and Fussy Cut. Attach to Circle Vellum Cut Out and a One Year Anniversary/Birthday Celebration Candle.

This was so much fun to make! I have to admit my daughter and I ended up making a batch of cupcakes after this project; we had a little craving for icing and sprinkles and we had our own little cupcake party 🙂

HAPPEE BIRTHDAY To my favorite muggle!

Trinity Stamps is also releasing a new Potter-Themed stamp to their collection. It’s Hagrid! The kiddo was so excited to create a card with one of her favorite Potter characters. She was super happy with her coloring and she started die cutting all her own pieces! She combined the Castle Scene Builder with the Happee Birthday Stamp Set. Here’s her card and in her own words just few details about her design.

I stamped Hagrid and his dog on a piece of paper. Then I colored them with Nuvo Markers. Then I die cut out a castle in purple paper. I taped the castle down on my card base. I put Hagrid, his dog, and a birthday cake with the castle.”

Mermaid wishes & Starfish kisses

Trinity Stamps is releasing an entire suite of Ocean-Themed products this release and they all mix and match with each other. The kiddo and I were super excited for the Mermaid in Mermaid Wishes and all the Sea Creatures in Turtely Awesome and the Ocean Reef Builder Stamp Sets. The kiddo even added a few of the Gems from Succulent Sparkle into her Mermaizing Ocean Scene. Let’s start with the kiddo’s project.

Here’s the Little A’s project and a description of her card in her own words:

I started with stamping the sea creatures on a piece of paper. Then I cut them out. Then I blended my background blue and sprayed water that made it look like there is bubbles. I pressed it down in a book and then took out when it was all flattened out. I put the sentiment on then we put all the sea creatures on. The mermaids ventured out in search of a place that held treasure. The pink mermaid was sitting on her turtle and the blue mermaid followed her turtle. When they found the treasure they were very excited. The pink mermaid is my mom and the blue mermaid is me.

For my mermaid card and Clean and Simple Ocean Card, I also stamped, colored and cut out my mermaid and like Little A I added some Nuvo Glitter Drops for some extra sparkle on her tail. Instead of riding a turtle my mermaid is swimming by to say hi on her friendly Dolphin friend.

For the Clean and Simple Keep Swimming Card, I added some sea horses and clown fish to the top of my card for a “floating to the top” kind of feel. I added some stripes and detail to the sea horse and clown fish with a white gel pen. Then to add some bubbles to the scene I stamped some small circles and added Hawaiian Shores Opal Confetti for a little extra pop. The sentiment was stamped with VersaFine Clair Nocturne Ink.

So there we are friends! A couple fun project using just a few of the products in the HUGE Trinity Stamps New Release. Be sure to leave a comment here and on all the blog hop stops for a chance to win a $20 gift certificate and a Birthday Surprise gift! Thanks for stopping by and Big Paper Hugs!
